A Bit About the Ewes
In the late 90's and early 2000's I followed the Peifer flock extensively, I soon
fell in love with the total volume, mass, bone structure and style of Jim's sheep.
As I started to buy and breed there was a definite influence of Peifer genetics,
In time I built my ewe base with Peifer breeding, and I
have continued worked with Peifer ewes and rams ever since.
My Current ewes are still deep with Peifer breeding and I have
since added select ewes from the 5StarJ, Craft, and Lansing flocks

Mil-Sid FarmMil-Sid Farm was founded in 1996 as a family operation; we are comprised of two very different but equally important aspects. Our major income comes from the production of small square bales of hay & straw which are then retailed throughout the neighboring areas in and around New York State.
The second area is a nationally recognized breeding flock of Suffolk sheep that are shown through out the East Cast and Mid West on an annual basis. The goal at Mil-Sid Farm is to bring the highest quality product to our customers whether it is in the bale or on the hoof, while being able to increase acreage, flock size, and continue to make a profit in today’s economy.
